As we approach a major milestone with the launch of our device to our first customers at the end of 2024, we are looking for passionate individuals to help drive our next stage of growth as we expand further into European and US markets in the years ahead.As VP of Engineering, you will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO with 50 (indirect) reports. Your role will center on several key pillars essential to Vitestro’s success such as:Project managementBy setting and monitoring the right KPIs and budget, you will track progress of the planning while supporting project managers in their daily tasks. You will oversee both short- and long-term project planning, ensuring the engineering teams meet their challenging goals. When timelines or goals are at risk, you will take proactive steps to ensure the projects remain aligned with market demands. You understand the urgency of rapid product iterations to ensure a successful product launch.Technical expertiseLeveraging your deep knowledge of mechanical, software, and electrical engineering, you will guide the engineering team in making informed technical decisions. You will enable the team to realize breakthroughs and assist in important technological decisions. Our medical device must meet FDA requirements, therefore you will play a key role in ensuring compliance while supporting the preparation of the Technical File. You will also lead our IP efforts.Involvement in sales conversations ensuring product market fitVitestro is currently focused on successful product introduction and responding dynamically to market needs. Driven by a solid customer-centric vision, you will lead the strategic development and execution of the technical product roadmap. You will engage with customers directly to understand their key needs and prioritize the right features and enablers together with our Sales Marketing team.HRLeading a dynamic, fast-growing high-tech team of 50+ engineers comes naturally to you.
