What you will do

We’re looking for an S&OP Transformation Expert - Demand to join our global team in Amsterdam! Your primary mission? Tony’s Chocolonely is scaling globally and needs a robust mid- to long-term demand planning capability to support growth, improve forecast accuracy, and enable fact-based decision-making across markets and functions. As an S&OP Transformation Expert, you will drive the design and implementation of Demand Planning related S&OP processes and APS functionalities to enable scalable growth and decision‑making. You will own the rolling 5–24 month forecast process, consolidate market inputs, lead cross‑functional S&OP forums and ensure process maturity to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic and financial decisions. You’ll be the bridge between commercial teams and operations including an S&OP Supply planner, ensuring our demand signals are reliable, transparent, and aligned with our mission to end exploitation in cocoa. You will be part of our operations team based in Amsterdam and report directly to the S&OP Manager.

• Influence stakeholders and drive adoption of best practices.
• Shape and continuously refine the 5–24 month rolling forecast, turning insights into clear, data‑driven direction for the business.
• Consolidate market inputs into a global demand outlook aligned with our long‑term plans.
• Partner with local teams to strengthen forecasting accuracy and elevate S&OP capabilities across markets.
• Champion APS tool design and implementation that makes our demand planning faster, smarter, and more collaborative.
• Facilitate and lead S&OP meetings, fueling insightful discussions in the S&OE process.
• Boost NPD forecasting precision by linking projections directly to business case performance.
• Keep a sharp eye on forecast assumptions, risks, and gaps — anticipating shifts before they happen.
• Build intuitive KPI dashboards (FCA, BIAS, CFR) that turn numbers into clear actions and better decisions.

Our new Ideal Edition

• Demand Planning is your expertise (5 years +)! Be it relevant tools (we are using Jedox), forecasting and scenario planning, you have it all covered.
• You have designed S&OP processes from scratch in FMCG or consumer goods.
• Hands‑on APS tool experience (design, implementation, optimization) with strong project management skills.
• You are an expert in crunching numbers – you translate data into actionable insights and use it to influence cross‑functional decisions.
• You like rolling up your sleeves and get excited about bringing creative solutions to the table.
• You leverage your collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, to build strong relationships and work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
• Builder mindset with ability to work independently and deliver transformation.
• You raise the bar: challenge yourself and team Tony’s to increase our ambition and to accomplish our mission. Making mistakes along the way and learning from them.
