You are part of a team of 10 software engineers that is located in both Denmark and the Netherlands.As a Software Engineer you work closely with all other team members within Innovation, like Electrical Engineers, Project Managers and Mechanical Engineers.As a Software Engineer/PLC programmer at Marel, you have the freedom to take initiative and make a real impact in a growing global company.As part of your daily responsibility, you will::Collaborate with the innovation team to design and develop machines for the food industry.Work with software from multiple vendors: e.g. BR, Schneider, Beckhoff, SigmaTEK (Lasal, Sigmatek's development environment, based on Structured Text with an OOP architecture).Maintain and optimize communication protocols like Modbus, OPC-UA, and OpenCan.Further standardize our library to improve efficiency and ease of maintenance.Perform evaluations, testing and analyses at customer siteWho are we?Marel designs and installs food processing solutions for the global food processing industry.
