In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the technical development and enhancement of our next-generation Advanced Packaging systems. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, you will drive the full project lifecycle—from initiation and technical feasibility to production and global deployment. Advanced packaging plays a key role in semiconductor manufacturing, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enable the integration of multiple chips into a single, high-performance solution. If you have extensive experience in system engineering and a passion for innovation, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact.Key ResponsibilitiesContributing to the technical development of the new generation of Advanced Packaging systems.Support Lead System Architect in assessing architectural scenarios on technical feasibility.Provide input to project manager for plan, planning, budget and timelines.Define system - and module requirements by following a systematic process that ensures clarity, traceability, and alignment with stakeholder needs.Overviewing the system complexity by employing a structured approach that breaks down the system into manageable subsets and making timing-, volume-, error- and other breakdowns.Conducting failure mode and effect analyses at different abstraction levels.Estimate overall system performance and capability by simple hand calculations, more advanced modelling or physical test setups.Adhering to disciplined and thorough documentation in all phases of the development process.THIS IS YOU

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Physics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the machine industry , preferably in the semiconductor sector.
• Experience in writing system requirements and specifications , building prototypes, and performance testing and verification.
• Strong communication skills; fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
