The PLCS Imaging team are highly skilled individuals providing technical support to the Field Service representatives, authoring service documentation and providing input feedback to the RD organization. /p h3Specific Responsibilities /h3 ul liRespond to situations where first level and second level field service support was not able to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. /li liAuthor technical documentation for the Field Service and Installation organizations. /li liSupport new product rollouts and initiate knowledge transfer to the Installation‑ and Field Service teams as required. /li liRepresent the Global Customer Service organization and provide input to the Engineering teams during new product introductions. /li liProviding on‑site installation and service support on request. /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul liB.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent degrees. /li li+ 3 years experience in a support role. /li liHigh level of analytical skills, able to disseminate complex problems to find a root cause. /li liAuto‑didactic skills to quickly familiarize with new areas. /li liReliable, tenacious, team‑oriented. /li liFluency in English language, written and verbal. /li /ul h3Additional Qualifications /h3 ul liPrevious exposure to medical physics or image processing. /li liExperience with Varian Linear Accelerators (C‑series, TrueBeam, Halcyon). /li liGerman language skills. /li liYou are communicative and eager to support others. You work structured and have an eye for details. In addition, you can express your ideas in a written form. /li liYou are used to working independently, but open to discussing ideas and solutions with your colleagues.
