This is your daily Action As one of our Procurement Managers you leverage your acquisition expertise and knowledge of the market to be a valuable partner for several departments within ACTION. This role has global reach and will focus on Non Commercial Goods (NCG). This category can be broken down in packaging supplies, office supplies, store equipment, technology, cleaning supplies, food beverage, safety equipment and miscellaneous. As this category contains a high amount of fast and slow moving articles, knowledge about supply chain optimization and procurement of logistic services is also required. NCG Procurement is a centralized function with key stakeholders located in Company's HQ, Zwaagdijk-Oost – your office location as well. Travel is limited although it can be required on a case-by-case basis. While the role is based in Zwaagdijk-Oost, we are open to candidates located near any of our other office locations outside the Netherlands due to the international scope of the role (Paris, Dusseldorf, Brussels, Warsaw, or Vienna). Day to day tasks Create a solid and trustful relationship with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Balance the business needs and cost efficiencies. Develop sourcing strategies for categories to prioritize impact of procurement efforts. Execute supplier and contract management for top suppliers. Research and analyze the Market for potential solutions that fits for ACTION. Conduct commercial and contractual negotiations. Manage the tender process, purchase of goods services and onboarding of new suppliers. Actively manage the SAP Ariba platform within your category. In addition, you have: Relevant Bachelor´s Degree or Master’s Degree (finance, economics, procurement, business) Minimum 4 years of working experience in similar roles, preferably on international scale Experience with contract vendor management, procurement software solutions (SAP Ariba is a plus) Experience with managing fragmented spend of 50 Mio EUR. Highly analytical, problem-solving, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Pro-active by nature with business acumen Articulate in written and spoken English (Dutch is a plus) What we offer Surprisingly more!
