The Role:

We focus on research and consultancy to shape society and the economy. Our work in the Regions & Cities sector covers themes like regional economy, housing, energy & climate, circularity, business parks, area development, and digitisation. Your task is to develop this theme further by conducting research, providing advice, leading projects, representing the company, and bringing in new work.

You will work on projects related to distribution planning, sustainability, circularity, and energy transition of facilities, connecting policy areas like economy, traffic, education, sports, healthcare, and welfare. Collaboration with colleagues across sectors is essential.

What we need from you:

• A university degree in economics, economic geography, or a related field.
• At least ten years of experience in distribution planning or spatial-economic research of facilities.
• Experience with needs assessments for retail & leisure, including location analysis.
• Experience in developing business cases and land and building exploitation calculations.
• Interest in sustainability, circularity, and energy transition of facilities.
• Willingness to occasionally work on diverse subjects.
• Team-oriented, customer-focused, enthusiastic, proactive.
• Excellent Dutch and good English skills.
