You will join a collaborative culture that upholds the highest moral integrity, working closely with multiple internal clients, including our Operations and Finance teams.Success in this role requires strong administrative and interpersonal skills, the flexibility to navigate both structured and evolving environments, and excellent judgement.Depending on your profile, you will have the title of Paralegal or Associate Legal Counsel. This position is based in our European Headquarters in Amersfoort (NL) and reports to the Senior Legal Counsel or the Director of the European Legal Department.Key responsibilities (depending on your expertise and experience)Provide operational support in the legal department:Collect, compile, maintain, file, and distribute documents, forms, and administrative recordsManage incoming and outgoing correspondence via email and regular postAssist with preparing department budgetsMaintain contract and corporate housekeeping templates for our 17 European legal entitiesConduct research and preparatory work and maintain documentation related to different legal areas, including: commercial law, real estate, asset management, energy transition, employment law, financial compliance, public procurement, GDPR.Promote compliance with current and applicable policies and standardsWhat you bringBachelor degree - for the Associate Legal Counsel: University Law degree (LL.M.)Excellent communication in Dutch and English, both written and spokenAt least 2 years of experience in a similar role in a law firm or a multinational companyExperience working in an international environmentFurther, you will need the following skills:Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated ability to support multiple internal clients and manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAbility to stay calm and organized in unstructured and evolving environments.Eagerness to learn and grow in various legal areas.What we offerAn international working environment, fueled by respect and a healthy work-life balance tailored to the business and team member’s needs27 paid vacation days (based on full-time contract) with the option to purchase five additional daysCommuting allowance of €0.23/km or an NS Business card subscriptionA wide variety of internal training and development possibilities and a tuition program for external trainingThe opportunity to pro-actively work on your vitality and fitnessState-of-the-art facilities, including green areas, in-house restaurant, and gymThis is mainly an on-site role with hybrid optionsAdditional benefits, such as:Attractive pension scheme (your contribution at 4%, ours at 12%)€50 net monthly health insurance contributionTwo (paid) days per year dedicated to volunteering activitiesSeveral fun company events and meaningful initiatives organized throughout the yearAt Applied Medical, we are committed to making a meaningful, positive difference, each and every day.
