POSITION TITLE: Operations Admin
DEPARTAMENT: Production
LOCATION: Meterik, Limburg, The Netherlands
REPORTS TO: Planning & Inventory lead

Position Summary:
Under instructions, this position is responsible for supporting the Logistic and Inventory as well as the production department in the preparation of shipments, coordinating the packaging with the packing team and will assist with all EU and Export shipments to customers, according to Fall Creek Standards and Procedures
ORGANIZATIONAL FIT:
This position reports to the Planning & Inventory lead and works closely with the Shipping & Production planner.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Office settings, some nursery settings may be required. Travel to cooler, customs and other vendors.
Part time position (+/- 32 - 36 hours per week)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- To generate Pull Slips and labels in the packing season according to the plan set in the packing planner. To share and coordinate with the production team.
- To control all the loadings at the nursery and cooler, checking all the pallets before being loaded: good condition of packaging, banded, labelled, placing data loggers when required.
- To print all the documents that have been previously prepared by the Shipping & Production planner, hand it to the driver/cooler and get all the signed and stamped company documents that the company should keep and tag the last pallet in the truck with the set of final documents.
- File and digitalize all the corresponding documents to each shipment in ERP and other systems.
- To book internal transport where needed, usually from the nursery to the cooler or vice versa.
- Managing and overseeing inventory, materials and supply chain operations, requesting orders if needed.
- Other administrative tasks as: Assisting on the purchasing of goods and materials as well as process of goods receipt, recording inventory and review shipping planner for daily shipments.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records and documentation, ensuring proper filing and organization; requesting VAT exemption documents from customers after shipments.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration between different departments and stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TRAINING AND SKILLS
- Administrative training (undergraduate vocational training or vocational training).
- Previous experience in logistics is desirable but not essential.
- Basic command of computer programs such as Excel, Word and SAP/NetSuite.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Can thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual language skills Dutch & English. The ability to speak, read and write in Spanish would be a plus.
