Mechanical Engineering Intern (BSc/MSc) – Graduation Internship (Thesis) | Haarlem (On-site/Hybrid)

KapiteinLabs is advancing industrial sustainability through innovative plasma and ozone technology. We help industries clean air and water, reduce emissions, and convert CO₂ into valuable resources—improving energy efficiency, lowering operational costs, and enabling compliance with strict environmental regulations.

• Support the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems for prototype setups
• Create and iterate designs using CAD tools
• Assist with experiments, measurements, and performance improvements (efficiency, reliability)
• Collect, analyze, and document test data and findings
• Collaborate closely with the R&D team on ongoing engineering projects

• BSc/MSc student in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field)
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals + proficiency in CAD
• Analytical, structured problem-solver with a hands-on mindset
• Clear communicator and team player
• Interest in sustainability and industrial innovation
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a prototype-driven environment

• This must be a graduation / thesis internship (final internship before completing your degree)
• Dutch BSN number (required)
• Able to be on-site in Haarlem at least 3 days per week (hybrid work possible, but on-site presence is mandatory)

• €500/month internship allowance (full-time)
