On behalf of an international industrial Group operating in the chemical sector, we are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead a key production and business unit located in the Netherlands.

The position holds full managerial responsibility for the site’s operations, with direct reporting to the Board of Directors and functional alignment with the Group CEO. The role is pivotal in ensuring the company’s strategic development, with a focus on enhancing organizational efficiency and fostering a culture of flexibility and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility over the business unit’s operations and performance
• Lead and drive a business reorganization process aimed at improving agility, efficiency, and competitiveness
• Ensure strategic alignment with Group policies and foster integration between the site and the broader corporate structure
• Promote a results-driven culture, combining operational excellence with business innovation

Candidate Profile:

• Educational Background: University degree

Professional Experience:

• Proven track record in managing industrial operations within the chemical or related process industries
• Experience in organizational transformation and process optimization
• Strong leadership background in structured yet agile business environments

Skills & Competencies:

• Solid managerial and leadership abilities
• High flexibility and problem-solving orientation
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to drive change across multidisciplinary teams
• Languages: Fluent English is required; other European languages are considered a plus.
