About the Role

As an IT Architect, you will play a crucial role in building a future‑proof IT foundation for our client. Your work will focus on aligning technological choices, organizational development, and municipal objectives. The assignment is results‑oriented with clear deliverables and deadlines, and you will design frameworks that integrate technology, governance, and business strategy to create long‑term architectural stability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive advisory document analyzing ongoing IT projects, technological decisions, and organizational goals.
• Design and define architectural frameworks and guidelines for areas such as Cloud, IAM, Sourcing, Networking, and Application Landscape.
• Create and maintain reference architectures and architectural principles, ensuring alignment across systems.
• Deliver a governance proposal for structural security within the IV Office.
• Implement and embed architectural processes within the organization.
• Advise and guide stakeholders in complex administrative and technical contexts, balancing innovation with compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO or higher) in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Management, or Security Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a (Lead) Architect in complex IV/IT environments.

Preferred Qualifications (Pre's)

• 3+ years of experience in developing and monitoring architectural principles and frameworks.
• Proven experience creating architecture deliverables such as target architectures and project start architectures.
• Strong ability to guide stakeholders within administratively complex organizations.
• Previous leadership or coordinating experience as a Lead Architect or Team Lead.
• Experience with security architectures and frameworks such as NIS2 and B‑O.
