You have experience with tender documents, including making calculations and translating them into costs and revenues for Alloga. What will you do?

In this role, you will be commercially responsible for Alloga Netherlands. In addition to business development (acquisition of new customers), you and your team are responsible for retaining and developing Alloga's current customers: both for turnover and profitability.

You do this by translating customer wishes into operational solutions. Already during the sales process, you hook up with the internal organization and work on a business case and the solution. You are able to engineer together with your colleagues to find the most suitable solution for the customer and you involve the other departments within Alloga (e.g. customer services, warehousing, transport, quality and finance), You also (co-)ensure that these solutions are actually implemented when awarded.

Some Core Tasks

  • Drawing up (annual) sales plans in which you are able to translate market potential into concrete objectives and growth (yourself)
  • Realizing growth, internationally together with the European organization and also stand-alone for the Benelux.
  • Fulfilling a bridging function between commerce, operations, quality and finance
  • Support to the Managing Director with commercial and account-specific issues.
  • Proactively proposing improvement opportunities to existing customers and realize these improvements together with them on time and within budget
  • Testing and adjusting accounts for compliance with (contract) agreements made.
  • Building and maintaining a professional internal/external commercial network.

Who are we looking for? We are looking for a colleague who interprets the term 'getting things done together'. We are looking for a colleague with distinctive communication talent, leadership based on persuasiveness, expertise and a sense of complex processes.

You are an internal and external relationship builder and team player with a good sense of commercial interests. You are proactive and not afraid to question the status quo. At least a completed HBO education; At least 8 years of relevant work experience in sales and account management in a logistics (3PL) organization, preferably with at least 3 years of managerial experience;

Affinity with the pharmaceutical (3PL) industry is a very strong advantage. You are therefore familiar with GDP and GMP requirements; Good command of the Dutch and English language; Very good command of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel and Power Point; Affinity with and interest in data and IT;

Able to convince, influence and get people moving at all levels Result-oriented in which you find a balance between budget, customer wishes and your own organization Of course problem-solving ability, because in logistics we always fix it for the customer.
