Africa's largest cooking oil manufacturer seeks an experienced and strategic Head of Finance and Admin to join their dynamic team based in the Overberg area of the Western Cape. The successful candidate will form part of senior management and will play an integral part in business success and profitability.The successful incumbent will be responsible for optimal financial performance and supporting business growth. This role requires a forward-thinking individual with strong business acumen, to provide insights and optimize allocation. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance, and contribute to strategic decision-making.Duties include, but are not limited to:Formulation, implementation and monitoring of internal controls and processes, financial targets and budgetsProvide support to all areas of business, through system design and formulationFinancial planning and advisoryControl financial transactions, accounting matters and audit systemsOversee preparation of annual financial statements, BBBEE audits and facilitation of external auditsMonitor compliance, including capital, hedging, debt, taxation, equity and acquisitionsResponsible for cash management, including operational and hedgingReview financial reporting packsResponsible for stock controlCalculation and management of operational and other costsFinancial evaluation of potential acquisition and/or internal expansion opportunitiesFinal approval of customer credit applicationsRegular review of hedging strategyEngage with customers and suppliersNegotiations with banks and insurance service providersCompany risk reviewsEducation:Qualified CA(SA) essentialJob Experience Skills Required:Completed SAICA articles7 to 9 years post-articles experience in a senior level financial management role essentialManufacturing or FMCG industry experience essentialAdvanced Microsoft ExcelExperience with hedge accounting preferredStrong organizational skillsMeticulous attention to detailAble to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reportsGood oral and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
