This is a bhands-on, 6-month contract role /bwhere you’ll travel to farms to deploy, support, and optimize cutting-edge robotic systems that directly improve efficiency and productivity for growers around the world. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with advanced technology, and building strong customer relationships, this opportunity offers a unique and rewarding challenge. /p pbWhat You’ll Do /b /p pIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our robotic systems perform at their highest level in real-world environments. Your work will include: /p ul liInstalling, configuring, and calibrating agricultural robotic systems at customer sites. /li liDiagnosing and repairing complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues. /li liProviding both on-site and remote technical support to maintain seamless system operation. /li liTraining customers and farm staff on system operation, maintenance, and best practices. /li liCollaborating closely with the engineering team to drive improvements in reliability and serviceability. /li liDocumenting all service activities and developing preventive maintenance plans. /li liManaging tools, spare parts, and consumables to support efficient service work. /li liSupporting field trials of new equipment and prototypes, and sharing meaningful feedback. /li liBuilding strong customer relationships and acting as a trusted technical advisor. /li liFollowing all safety protocols and industry standards while working on farms. /li /ul h3bWhat Success Looks Like /b /h3 pSuccess in this role means: /p ul liRobotic systems are installed and maintained to the highest standard, minimizing downtime. /li liCustomers feel supported, confident, and well-trained in using their systems. /li liIssues are diagnosed quickly and resolved effectively, whether on-site or remotely. /li liClear and accurate documentation enables repeatable, high-quality service. /li liFeedback from the field helps improve product performance and customer experience. /li liYou represent 4AG Robotics professionally, strengthening trust and long-term customer relationships. /li liYou adapt to diverse farm environments and travel requirements with professionalism and safety in mind. /li /ul pbWhat You Bring /b /p pYou’ll thrive in this role if you have: /p ul liCertification in robotics, mechatronics, engineering, or a related technical field. /li liHands-on field experience, ideally with robotics or agriculture systems. /li liStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. /li liExcellent communication and customer service abilities. /li liExperience with automation systems, PLCs, or industrial controls (highly desirable). /li liThe ability to travel internationally and work in variable indoor/outdoor environments. /li liA valid driver’s licence and a passion for working with advanced technology. /li /ul pbWhy This Role Matters /b /p pField Service Technicians are essential to the success of 4AG Robotics’ mission to modernize and support global agriculture.
