Director of System Verification Release page is loadedDirector of System Verification ReleaseIn this role, you will drive strategy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance for system integration, testing, and verification within Philips’ Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT) business. A leader in a complex and profitable domain, you will ensure seamless product development and exceptional customer experience.The IGT Business Unit, based in Best, Bangalore, Pune, and Suzhou, oversees marketing, development, and manufacturing of X-ray systems, including the industry-leading Azurion platform. This platform enhances procedural confidence, optimizes lab performance, and improves patient care.You will lead a high-performing, multi-site team of ~30, managing all aspects of System Verification and Release throughout the IGT Systems product lifecycle. As part of the System Development Leadership team, you will collaborate with five key departments to ensure timely, high-quality product releases and effective life cycle management. You will report to the Senior Director of System Development IGT.Your role:Ensure optimal user experience and product quality.Define and maintain global test environments (manual automated).Lead Configuration Management and serve as the global process owner for document control, defect management, verification, and testing.Oversee quality and timely delivery of New Product Introduction and Life Cycle Management projects, aligning with PMO for resource planning.Drive the Global Test, Verification, and Release Strategy while ensuring regulatory compliance and process harmonization.Continuously improve verification methodologies, tools, and Quality Management Procedures.Collaborate with RD, Service, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Marketing teams.Represent IGT Systems in Philips' Center of Excellence and expand networks in systems engineering.Benchmark and enhance processes to drive innovation, quality, speed, and cost efficiency.Provide leadership for Verification Release, including talent acquisition, development, and performance management.You are the right fit if you have:A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.7+ years of experience in Systems Design, ideally within the medical device industry.Proven leadership experience, including team management, talent development, and budget oversight.Experience in strategy development, project management, and lab management.Strong knowledge of working in a regulated and process-driven environment.A results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, matrixed organization.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.DfSS Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred).Experience leading a similar function through strategic development and execution.About PhilipsWe are a health technology company.
