For the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf (RVB), we manage the full maintenance scope of low-voltage installations, including switchgear, building systems, emergency generators, and emergency lighting.

As a Senior Cost Engineer, you are responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and calculations for large technical projects, primarily in the field of electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Preparing cost calculations and budgets for modification projects up to €2 million
• Drafting work descriptions and price proposals
• Managing projects from start to finish with a focus on costing
• Coordinating material selection, subcontractors, and manpower deployment
• Playing an active role in pre-engineering during tender phases
• Visiting clients and sites regularly to ensure optimal project alignment

You will work in the RVB team alongside the contract manager, project manager, service coordinator, and technicians. We work hard together and share plenty of laughs along the way. Qualifications

• A completed technical education in electrical engineering at MBO-4 level (or equivalent)
• HBO-level working and thinking skills
• Several years of experience as a cost engineer or estimator in the installation technology sector
• Enthusiasm, flexibility, and a passion for continuous learning
