Consultant/ Interim Team Lead Building Management The Facility Operations department ensures our offices and laboratories meet the highest standards for safety, functionality, and comfort. As Consultant/Interim Team Lead Building Management , you will lead a team of building managers to ensure smooth daily facility operations, proactive maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations. Join us to make a difference in our innovative environment! Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of building managers, ensuring task allocation and quality standards. Oversee inspections and maintenance for office and laboratory systems like climate control and plumbing. Plan and monitor annual maintenance schedules within budget and contract terms. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and laboratory-specific protocols. Monitor energy consumption and propose energy-saving measures. Act as the main contact for team escalations and inquiries. Manage supplier relationships and oversee safe execution of tasks. Coordinate and communicate planned maintenance and disruptions to users. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, documenting them for process improvements. Ensure adequate emergency service coverage and participate in after-hours shifts. Requirements MBO+/HBO level in technical or building management, with VCA-VOL certification. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, including leadership responsibilities. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in office or laboratory environments and technical maintenance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems. Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. Service-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
