By fostering collaboration among project teams and stakeholders, you will contribute significantly to Shurgard’s position as a leader in self-storage development. /p pstrongYour responsibilities /strong /p ullistrongDesign Collaboration: /strong Collaborate closely with development and design teams to create comprehensive concept designs, construction programmes, and detailed cost plans. Validate designs for buildability and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.  /lilistrongStakeholder Engagement: /strong Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and local authorities. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to resolve construction-related challenges promptly.  /lilistrongRisk Assessment and Management: /strong Proactively identify and assess project risks, advising on the need for specialist consultants to mitigate these risks. Implement project strategies to address potential issues effectively.  /lilistrongTendering and Contract Management: /strong Lead the tendering process for all construction projects, ensuring compliance with Shurgard’s procurement policies. Oversee contract negotiations and manage relationships with contractors and service providers throughout the project lifecycle.  /lilistrongSite Management and Supervision: /strong Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
