Angove Partners is partnering with a global insurance company, seeking an M&A Claims Associate in Amsterdam. It's an exciting time for the business, which is expanding into new jurisdictions and solidifying its position as a market leader in W&I in Amsterdam.What is the role? This role has a focus on M&A insurance claims and is based in Amsterdam. The team specialises in Warranties & Indemnities and Tax Liability insurance.What will you be doing? Autonomously administer and negotiate claimsReview and respond to incoming enquiries from clients and brokersReview and prepare notifications, manage the claims process, consider coverage and deal with settlementsNegotiate with markets to achieve the best outcomeCreate comprehensive and accurate documents detailing claim facts and coverage issuesDevelop strong relationships with marketsAdvise on policy wording improvements based on insurance law and claims experienceWhat do you need to apply to this role? PQE 2 - 8 years of experience in a law firm, preferable with experience in Insurance Recovery/M&A LitigationUnderstanding of M&A legal documents (e.g. Sale Agreements, DD reports, data room documents)Entrepreneurial with good negotiation skillsFluency in DutchIf you are interested in applying or are keen to learn more please reach out to: tommy.boylan@angovepartners.com
