About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to support a growth across our Home Care, Personal Care, and Industrial & Institutional (I&I) segments in the Benelux region. You will be responsible for managing a dynamic portfolio of specialty ingredients, developing new business opportunities, and building strong, value-adding relationships with both customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow the business of existing accounts and develop new business throughout Benelux in Home care I&I
- Develop sales from a portfolio of products within the segment of cosmetic ingredients and the Personal Care industries throughout Benelux by building long-term relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends to drive profitable growth.
- Manage and expand an existing portfolio of specialty chemical ingredients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with formulators, procurement teams, and technical decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to position products effectively and support regional growth targets.
- Provide technical and commercial support during customer visits, trials, and product launches.
- Monitor and report on market intelligence and pricing developments.
- Collaborate with rest of the sales team and customer service department.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and support budgeting processes.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5+ years of sales or business development experience in chemical distribution or ingredient supply (HPC or I&I markets preferred).
- Understanding of formulation trends in detergents, personal care, cosmetics, or industrial cleaning.
- Proven track record of managing technical products and achieving sales growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
- Valid driver's license; willingness to travel across the Benelux region.
- Self-motivated to start up new initiatives to generate more sales
