For a rapidly growing engineering organization, we are seeking an experienced AVEVA Admin / Sr Systems Engineer to support major FEED and EPC projects across the refinery, petrochemical, & chemical sectors. This role sits within a highly skilled engineering group known for delivering end-to-end solutions and driving innovation across complex industrial programs. Duties & Responsibilities Setting up and managing AVEVA Engineering environments for complex, multi-location projects. Creating and customizing datasheets based on client and project requirements. Troubleshooting and resolving AVEVA Engineering issues to maintain project integrity. Configuring and managing Global/Satellite AVEVA projects and compare/update utilities for data consistency. Generating high-quality project reports directly from databases, including charts and graphics. Analyzing and optimizing in-house data models as required. Configuring and managing AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation (database administration, user access setup). Customizing electrical datasheets, load lists, single-line diagrams, cable block diagrams, and termination drawings. Setting up and configuring Instrument Indexes, Loop lists, Hookup drawings, cable schedules, and other AVEVA deliverables. Creating symbol libraries to company standards and project specifications. Managing AVEVA Integration services to interface with other engineering applications and design tools. Liaising with project teams to determine set-up requirements and translating them into production environments. Delivering user training sessions and sharing knowledge with colleagues. Actively contributing to application development and integration with other engineering design systems. Supporting QHSE Management Systems by reporting nonconformities in line with corporate Quality and HSE policies. Abilities Fluent in English with strong English writing skills for documentation and reports and for effective communication with teams and stakeholders. Expertise in AVEVA E3D and AVEVA Diagrams (DABACON database administration, multi-discipline environments). Skilled in AVEVA Engineering integration with ERM, E3D, and related systems. Knowledge of project architecture, access controls, conceptual data models, and task automation via PML. Strong grasp of multi-discipline catalogues, engineering discipline data ownership, and AVEVA configuration management. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard engineering software. Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: AVEVA E3D (Administration/User) / AVEVA Process Simulation / AVEVA ERM (Administration/User) / AVEVA Diagrams (Administration/User) / AutoCAD Qualifications University degree or technician qualification in a relevant engineering field Minimum 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical industry as a Systems Engineer At least 4 years of AVEVA Engineering administration experience within those 10 years Legal eligibility to work and reside in the EU and the Netherlands is preferred.
