Part-time (24 hours per week) Immediate Start Position: Assistant Rental Agent (Viewings & Property Management Support) Location: Amstelveen / Amsterdam Are you an organized and service-oriented professional with an interest in real estate? We are looking for an Assistant Rental Agent to support our rental and property management operations. What You'll Do In this role, you will be responsible for the operational side of the rental process. Your main focus will be conducting property viewings, handling check-ins and check-outs, and supporting the property management team with day-to-day activities. Your responsibilities include: Conducting rental viewings with prospective tenants Managing check-ins and check-outs, including inspections and key handovers Supporting the property management department with administrative and operational tasks Assisting tenants and landlords with practical questions during the rental period Ensuring properties are ready and presentable for new tenants Reporting on property conditions and coordinating minor issues when needed This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same, and you’ll play a key part in delivering a smooth rental experience. A Typical Workday Your day will often start from our office in Amsterdam, after which you’ll head out to different properties for scheduled viewings or check-ins/check-outs. In between appointments, you’ll stay in touch with colleagues and assist with property management tasks. You’ll spend a significant part of your day on the road, interacting with clients and ensuring everything runs efficiently. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and customer-focused. You enjoy working independently but are also a strong team player. You bring: Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English A practical, hands-on mindset with strong organizational skills A customer-friendly and professional attitude A commercial mindset, with the ability to understand client needs and match them to suitable properties Confidence in presenting and promoting properties in an engaging and persuasive way The ability to manage your time effectively and work independently Affinity with real estate (experience is a plus, but not required) Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is a plus Requirements Availability for 24 hours per week MBO level or similar education (preferred) Fluent in Dutch and English Valid Dutch driver’s license (B) – required Own car – preferred Living in or near Amsterdam/Amstelveen What We Offer We offer a varied and independent role within a growing and dynamic real estate company.
