As an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker, you will inspect, repair, and restore aircraft structures, ensuring they return to service safely and in top condition. You’ll work with high-quality materials in a precision-driven environment where safety and craftsmanship are key. Experience in aviation is a plus, but not required. Backgrounds in automotive body repair, metal fabrication, or structural metalwork are welcome. We value technical skill and the motivation to learn.br /p /pph2What will you do as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker? /h2ulliAssess damage to aircraft components and determine the required repairs; /liliPerform repair and maintenance work in accordance with approved repair procedures and guidelines; /liliReplace damaged sheet metal parts and repair damage to aluminum or other aircraft materials using drilling, reaming, countersinking, spot facing, light milling, grinding, sawing, and deburring techniques; /liliUse sheet metal tools and small machinery to adjust, fit, or restore components; /liliWork in compliance with strict safety and quality regulations to ensure aircraft are returned to optimal condition; /liliCollaborate within a professional, international team on a variety of projects /li /ul /pph2What do you bring as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker? /h2ulliA completed MBO-level qualification in metalworking or a comparable technical education; /liliProven experience as a sheet metal worker (aluminum) or metal fabricator (aviation experience is a plus, but not required); /liliStrong technical skills and a keen eye for detail; /liliThe ability to work accurately according to specifications and technical drawings; /liliGood command of the English language, as it is often the working language within projects; /liliA valid Certificate of Good Conduct (or willingness to obtain one) /li /ul /pph2What do you receive as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker? /h2ulliA gross monthly salary between €2,700 and €3,200, depending on your knowledge and experience; /liliTravel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (maximum 30 km one way); /lili8% holiday allowance; /lili25 vacation days plus 13 additional leave days (ATV); /liliPension scheme from your first working day; /liliEasily accessible by public transport; /liliOn-the-job sheet metal coaching; /liliThe opportunity to work in an international team within a professional aviation environment; /liliThe prospect of a permanent contract with the client upon good performance; /liliOpportunities for training and courses through SOMA Works /li /ul /pph2Sollicitatie /h2pWould you like to start as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker and contribute to the maintenance and repair of aircraft components?
