Our client

Our client is a leading company in the real estate sector, specializing in the development, investment, and management of commercial properties across Europe. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality services and innovative solutions to our clients, ensuring sustainable growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative and accounting processes, including posting invoices, preparing payments to suppliers, and handling travel expenses postings.
  • Prepare and control the annual budget for the designated country.
  • Control and prepare data related to taxes (VAT, property tax, water tax) and provide it to the Tax Advisor.
  • Verify documentation provided by external agents (auditors, tax administration, banking).
  • Prepare monthly and yearly closing of accounts.
  • Participate in monthly reporting and audits.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and tax authorities.
  • Work closely with the Amsterdam Team and Corporate departments.

Who We Need:

Education:

  • Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • Solid knowledge of Dutch accounting regulations.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of administrative requirements related to tax filing, relations with Public Administrations, and presentation of annual accounts.

Languages:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP desirable).

Others:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment.
